Insight and Possible Spoilers:
The desire of this course was to provide the player for most of the holes choices of where to hit the ball
Successfully performing a more difficult shot off the tee one should then find themselves a more welcomed shot to the green.
If one desires not to take the more difficult shot off the tee there usually is a more easier shot to consider; however, the shot to the green is not as easy.
Regarding the Green shots closer to the pin should be noticed to provide an easier putt
One may find themselves often using the pitch shot with the 34W being proficient with this club and swing type may be more beneficial than the chip shot.
Sand traps are hazards most of them the player may think wow this is a hazard rather that just a smooth sandy area to hit out of such as one finds in most other courses.
Course Forge does not allow a free drop area you may find yourself depending on how awful the shot was on a particular hole in an area that should be a free drop area or an out of bounds but Forge does not provide either of these but you will be able to play it as it lies or take a penalty shot using a drop or rehit. If you always keep the ball in the fairway you will be fine. However any ball going into the water is either a rehit or drop both having a penalty wheeeee !!!
The easy, medium, and hard pin placements should be found to be like they are described. easy may seem boring to you. None of the flag pin holes have slants over 1 or 2 degrees some other areas of the greens may have more slope than this so simply hit it close overall though the greens compared to most any other course should be easy for you.
For total enjoyment you may find you can play this course of only 9 holes on a more difficult level
If I get some feedback or get in the mood I will add the back 9 as we know it can be quite painstaking to make a course especially when you are a moron like myself.
